When does the Founding Member launch window end?

The Founding Member launch begins on the 18th October 2026 and ends on 15th November 2026. If you have begun a trial before the end date and you choose to move to a paid plan you will be included in the Founding Member plans. All Founding Member plans are locked in for as long as you have a current Monthly or Annual subscription. However, if you stop your subscription and choose to join a new plan at a later date, the plan price at that time will be available.

Does it work for authors with multiple pen names?

Yes. DottHQ was designed from day one to handle multiple pen names cleanly — separate identities, separate books, separate royalties, all in one calm dashboard.

What does "lifetime founding-member pricing" mean?

All Founding Member plans are locked in for as long as you have a current Monthly or Annual subscription. However, if you stop your subscription and choose to join a new plan at a later date, the plan price at that time will be available.

Will my price increase after the launch window date passes?

Not at all. If you join either a Trial or Paid Plan prior to the 15th November 2026 you will be a Founding Member and your price is locked in for as long as you have a current monthly or annual subscription.

Can I switch plans or add pan names later?

Yes, as a Founding Member you may switch plans upward or downwards at any time and continue to receive the Founding Member plan price for either a monthly or annual paid subscription.

Is DottHQ a desktop app I have to install?

No — DottHQ runs in your browser and works beautifully on your laptop, tablet, or phone. No downloads, no installers, no waiting for updates.

I'm not very techy. Will DottHQ be too complicated for me?

DottHQ is built specifically for authors, including those who don't think of themselves as "tech people." If you can use Word and email, you'll be fine — and there'll be plenty of guidance to help you get set up.

How will I hear about updates?

We'll email waitlist members as we get closer to launch — no spam, just occasional progress updates and your early invite when the doors open.

How does currently conversion work for international authors?

All prices are charged in AUD $ as Tech Savvy Writers and DottHQ are based in Australia. You can view the pricing plan for your preferred currency conversion which uses daily exchange rates were possible to give you an estimate for the charge in your preferred currency.

Within DottHQ you can set your preferred base currency and currently transactions for Royalties, Income and/or Expenses require a manual input of the exchange rate for that transaction. Due to various time zones and when transactions are added to your financials having this automated is not currently a DottHQ feature.
