I built DottHQ because I needed it.

As authors you may have multiple pen names, juggling royalty reports across half a dozen platforms, losing track of which tools you are paying for, and watching your "author business systems" sprawl across spreadsheets, notebooks, and tabs you are afraid to close.

I tried every app I could find. Nothing fit the way authors actually work.

So I started building one that did.

We're building toward launch now, with waitlist members invited in first. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know the moment the doors open.

Is DottHQ a desktop app I have to install?

No — DottHQ runs in your browser and works beautifully on your laptop, tablet, or phone. No downloads, no installers, no waiting for updates.

Does it work for authors with multiple pen names?

Yes. DottHQ was designed from day one to handle multiple pen names cleanly — separate identities, separate books, separate royalties, all in one calm dashboard.

What does "lifetime founding-member pricing" mean?

It means the price you join at as a founding member is the price you keep, for as long as you stay a subscriber — even as we add new features and launch new tiers.

Do I have to join the Author Hub to get on the DottHQ waitlist?

Not at all. The Author Hub is a free community you can opt into when you sign up — but it's completely separate from the waitlist. Tick the box if you'd like to join, leave it blank if you'd rather just wait quietly.

I'm not very techy. Will DottHQ be too complicated for me?

DottHQ is built specifically for authors, including those who don't think of themselves as "tech people." If you can use Word and email, you'll be fine — and there'll be plenty of guidance to help you get set up.
